PaAS - new model from Korg??

Just got told by the dealer I couldn't get one as there is apparently a new model being released... the dealer was told this by the distributor.

Has anyone here heard of a updated model being released?

I personally have never liked them - my neighbour has one which I have tried.

I am concerned about the vibration of such speakers physically attached to a keyboard....
.......what are your views on that?

I believe the new one has a stronger bass output

Good Point, I'm also wondering where the music rack sits with the speaker installed.

For small parties or venues the speaker ( PaaS ) would be nice only if it could be reversed in the face the audience.

The speaker faces me or I could flipping over and it would face the audience.

Hi,
I picked up a used PaAS speaker about four years ago for £150 U.K. and it's an excellent speaker. A very full and loud sound, and would recommend to anyone. I used to go to Keyboard Cavalcade Festivals and many players would happily give a show using just the PaAS speaker.
It works great on my PA5X but I have added an SVS active sub as I am using bass pedals, but I don't think it actually needs it.

p.s. It's been dropped a couple of times but still works perfectly.

I just saw Thomann has the PaAS MK2 listed for sale with delivery in a few months, but the price is outrageous at $650 USD! Thats almost double the MK1 model.
