Why?

Post by Asena »

https://www.korg.com/ro/products/synthe ... 5x/faq.php

Hello friends

Can someone please explain to me why Korg can’t just hurry up and get all necessary things to be delivered in time?

I mean I payed it, and now must wait so long for it.

Most of the stuff is available in 2024!

That’s simply sucks, because they did not inform
Us for that at all when we bought it.

Sorry but it’s like they have cheated us on it.

Can anyone explain it please.
Anyone from korg?
I understand that things are different in electronic companies due to the things happened in 2020/2022 but they should wait until they can make it ready!
Why did they introduce it In this condition.
They must have programmers and stuff to make it work.
This is a big problem for users that need it and this can’t be ignored.

Disappointed ☹️

My understanding is that this is the case and certainly nothing to do with the development team in Italy.
I believe the new management is young(er) now and seemingly with less business experience.
Despite all that has happened, I still have respect and confidence in the team in Italy but am lacking respect for the poor management that they are enduring.

      "inept"?? I think so....

In that case, the development team has my full support, and I hope they are fighting the good fight... :)

So, as the Italy development team is doing well, and Korg UK appears to be providing good support (Adam & Luke), where would the new administration team be? We don't hear much about Korg Japan; as Japan is known for its superior quality control, it would be expected that they would not release an unfinished product, so where are they on this?

Well, (based on the above comment) if they are prepared to risk customer confidence (which has now happened) with that sort of business ethic, then KORG must be in real trouble ?...

What happened was the pa5x is a new operating system. That means there will be some bugs. The most you can say is they knew that early adopters would find remaining bugs. No proof that they "needed cash flow." Korg has other income streams besides the arranger line.

Agreed.. hens I wrote > (based on the above comment)

Considering the rest of the above statement, which ever way you want to look a this, PA5X is and has been a premature release todate, and this has now damaged brand reputation regardless of any performance potential that is still under development...

As a desperate "holding-on" future PA5x purchaser, I am wondering the same.
PA5x doesn't match its supporting documentation yet. I want that to be achieved before anything else is addressed.

      Still hoping....

Take a look at the FAQ for the 5x:

      https://www.korg.com/au/products/synthe ... 5x/faq.php

Korg clearly has long-term plans for the keyboard. I can only assume that those plans will include fixing the current OS bugs. Unfortunate for early adopters? Yes, but almost certainly a problem that will be addressed.

We are targeting late 2023 or the beginning of 2024.

Why did they released it if we must wait 1,5 years?
