The way Korg's style works is very limited.Please read this.
Midi control 7 CC7 ( main volume setting of style's track) working when import midi to style in Version 1.0 but not work in V1.1.

Program change, LSB, MSB ( The setup parameter determines the position of the sound you use in your Style track ) working when import midi to style in OS version 1.0 but version 1.1 is no longer working . When you export your style to midi file for edit on PC Daw, then reimport it to new style, now you need to reselect all sounds for each track of all Style Elements from intro to var,fill, ending. Very waste of time. If Program change, LSB, MSB are supported in "Event edit" like Yamaha, you can change the sound you use on a Style track at any time you want, that mean you can use more than 1 sound for 1 style track at 1 Style element, very flexible.

In Yamaha style creator, all Style Elements are separated. You can set diffirent main Volume , EQ, Reverb, delay, track type, range wrap... settings for a style track in sperate Style Elements like 3intro, 4var,4fill,3ending,.. it's very amazing and useful for today modern music styles.

Ex : Main volume of drum track set to 50 at intro 1, 60 at intro 2, or reverb for drum track set to 0 at intro 1 and set to 50 at intro 2,...or change track type from DRUM to ACC or GTR, change range wrap,.. Diffirent "Track type" setting each Style elements like Acc3 set to "GTR" type on Var 1 and set to "ACC" type on var 2, set to "Drum" type on Var 3,.... You can do all of that on all Yamaha keyboards. This is very useful feature to make the style more flexible and sound better.

You can't do that on Korg style. Korg can only use same just one EQ and Main Volume, Range wrap, track type,.. settings for one Style Track and this setting affect to this track on all Style Elements from intro to var, ending..
Ex: If you set track type to "GTR" for ACC1 track on Intro 1 to use it for Guitar sound. You can only use this track for Guitar sound in all Style Elements from intro 1 to ending 3 . If you want to use somethings else like Piano or Synth, strings,.. on this ACC1 track at other Style Elements (like intro 2 ,3 . Var 1 2 3 4,Eding,..) You can't do that because this track set to GTR type at all Style Elements so it only can use for Guitar Sound. It is very limited.

5x Style Creator added control 91 and 93 so you can use diffirent reverb and delay setting in diffirent Style Elements but EQ and main volume,range wrap,track type,.. still can't. It is very software limited for a powerful machine like Pa5x. All Style Elements need to be separate like Yamaha. Still love my PA5X but hope korg's software will be improved.

I have updated the post. Still love my PA5X but hope korg's software will be improved.
