Sometimes my mind wanders to obscure places...probably more often than I care to admit.
Anyway, when I first got my Pa4X, it came with OS v2.0 loaded. Since I never created any of my own styles or made significant system changes until much later, I never thought to save any of the old resources.
Did v2.0, 2.2 or 3.01 contain any different sounds/styles/pads, etc. that were NOT included in the final 3.1.0 version, or were the differences purely name changes?

There were new styles and sounds and keyboard sets added.
If you've got plenty of time, you could compare the namelists in the respective User Manuals for each version.
If you've got even more time, you could re-install the earlier OS versions and perform a "SAVE ALL" with factory protect "OFF" - you would then have all the "OS default" data to experiment with.
I am pretty certain that would work but do it at your own risk.
Over time, I think a few bonusware styles crept in too.

Thanks Pete!
Thanks Pete! I appreciate the response.
I thought about just reverting back to the previous OS's, but as you indicated, it could be risky and "borking" my system is not something I would look forward to. At this point, since it's not broke, I won't "fix" it.
Thanks again for the reply and all the input you have provided all of us over the years! Best wishes, stay safe and keep on making music!

I have gone back many of times . from os3 back to os2...
and i would do like pete said ... do a save all ,,, with factory off ....
and then just load in styles of keyboard set ...
os2 has the format in it ...
but first back up all first ....
iam on .. os 2.2
I don't care for the set list colors and to small of a font . i stay with 2.2 . the little new in os3 . i don't need . i work almost everday . if i just play for fun and home . i would update to os3
