NEW KORG SOUND!!!?

Post by karmathanever »

TOTAL SILENCE !!

These forums are now so quiet. Have we all become complacent, given up, lost hope?
We could not be blamed for that.

Korg's SILENCE is not doing them any good.

So, more importantly, I hope all of you are staying well and enjoying your music.

Take care

I'm always a day late and a dollar short. I was thinking the same thing, Pete. The silence is deafening...especially from Korg. If it weren't for the emails they send out regarding products I have little interest in, I would think they just closed their doors and threw in the towel. It is very sad indeed. It reminds me of a song: Helplessly Hoping...

As always, thanks for all you contribute and stay safe!

It must be said

Poor customer care policies ito response

Extremely over guarded software design that restricted full implementation of midi possibilities between devices (even between their own)

very innovative BUT Very delayed approach in adding simple features/ability to make the experience of making music simpler, more enjoyable, more tweakable which they very much would have the capability to do quite easily. Look at Yamaha and how much more is allowed from their devices where there is a community that supports and push the abilities further openly.

Tried to state a little of my thoughts in a very generalized way.

Yes they needed to protect their interest but in some cases where it mattered most it was simply overly done....should have just tried a different approach seeing the requests from customer base especially here on this forum without which i think they would close down quite quickly as this is where all the hype, understanding, support and dissatisfaction is realized/generated by members to help each other understand what is out in the market in comparison to others and to get the best out of their devices

.....the device manufacturer don't seem to care.

I only speak for myself here.

I've lost all interest in a Korg Pa5X and I will see, how can I sound and style wise maximize my Pa4X Musikant with the help of the sample memory.

Hi Pete. I guess we've all gone mute lately. I think it's the same on all Forums. I do pop in here occasionally but as you say very quite. I'm happy with my pa1000 and for what it can do for me. All the best from the UK :)

I think it would be fair to say considering the extra ordinary time that we have just been through and still going through in many other ways which is causing extra ordinary problems in supply of electronics, manufacturing materials and shipping etc etc... then I think a little more patience is required at this time....so.... maybe some adjustment to our perceptions and expectations would not be to unreasonable considering all things... :)

I agree totally - I don't really care about a PA5X, PA6X or anything new - I would just like some communication - I feel like Korg has disappeared.

I agree, and a comment from Korg, however small & insignificant, would go a long way towards boosting the collapsing morale of the troops!
Remember, Yamaha started the hype months before the release of Genos and it helped!

+1,
Korg's communication was hard even before pandemic.

All we ask as Pete mentioned, we don't care if they will release Pa5X, Pa6x or anything new,
All we expect that Korg communicates with their customers like regular customers not treating them like strangers.

Well, After i have seen the MEDELI AX-10 and After i tested it, I must say, I do not understand WHY KORG does not have half of what MEDELI offers to the users, I mailed MEDELI, and YEP, 10 Hrs later they respond me.
I have mailed KORG in 20 years minimum 15 mail, NO RESPOND at all.
if they do not care, Why do we care than?
So STRANGERS are the best Word!

+1,
I've come to this conclusion (...Why do we care than?) and already moved on to other brand.

Not to compare with a Pa4X.

If you hear what i created on A Medeli, You will not believe,
On board ROM sounds are not so god, But 700 plus MB is ok to make some really great things on,

4X= 3000 Euros, Medeli 700 Euros.

From medeli, you get program for making sounds for free,
You have Bluetooth, You have manny colors to chose for the buttons, Better Display, with superb pictures on the Instruments you are using, Audio Loops, And much more God looking, and a great support from them, You send a mail, They get back to you!

We pay 3500/4000 for some brands, AND WHAT DO YOU GET?
Really, 2022, No connection with them, No support,

And 700 euros for a Medeli, Is like nothing with so much thing they give you
