Please dear god of Korgs, make a diode flash when midi in

Post by CSURIEUX »

This is valid for the last 3 korgs : Modwave, Wavestate and Opsix.
It would be so nice to be informed that the synth is receiving midi from its USB and/or its midi DIN.
There are so many buttons that could be used for this usage, I am sure there is a software solution to set up this really important indicator.

My external controller is sending several CC or pictbend but none of my Korgs is reporting reception. I am so used to see my Waldorfs, Elektrons and external effect report it that I am always feelin there is a problem in the Korgs

I've had a few synths so far, and I can only recall one of them having such a feature: the Moog Sub 37. All the others don't have any visual indication when any MIDI arrives at the IN port.

All my Waldorf and Elektron have it, and my past Novations.
I must add that out of the pure synth area : my audio interfaces blink, my midi guitar effect pedals also, etc.
