Velocity Zone in Korg pa 700 Multisample.

Post by Fever202 »

Hello.

Im converting VST from Kontakt Libraries using Extreme Sample Converter and making 3 velocity layer WAV files.

Example - C2 044 velocity range, C2 084 Velocity range - C2 127 velocity range.

I import them to korg pa700 making multisample for 044 zone, one for 084 range and one for 127 range. Than i make 3 OSC and making 1 osc for 044 one for 84 and one for 127. But when i press the keys there is no difference in Velocity. So the question is how can i adjust the velocity range for all the Oscillators. So whenever i press Hard the 127 velocity triggers and when i press not so hard 084 velocity triggers and when i press soft 044 velocity triggers and etc.

Any help will be appreciated.

Sorry for my bad English.

Peace.

In manual under "Setting the oscillator’s basic parameters - Setting the velocity and key zone" you will find how to limit the selected oscillator to play inside a defined velocity zone.

This will allow for creating different velocity layers:
With sound-editor select first OSC "044" go to the Sound > Basic > Velocity/Range page.
Use the velocity zones Top parameter with 44 and use the Bottom parameter to 0. Now velocity zone for OSC "044" is specified for that selected oscillator.

Do the same with next OSC "084" but use 84 and 45 for Top and Bottom and do the same with OSC "127" but use 127 and 85 for Top and Bottom.
kind regards
