Thank you Korg team.
But I think something didn't go quite right.
Havana Pop and Havana Latin are exactly the same.

I appreciate all of the free styles that Korg supplies us with. I myself would like to see some more country and doo wop styles. in the US there is a bunch of old farts, like me, that own the arrangers. I myself rarely use pop and funk styles. Again I am not complaining its just my different taste in music.

Do you have some artist or bands in mind? It would be interesting to explore the many subgenres of this style.

Best,
Paolo

If you have access to Roland, maybe EA7, listen to Country Swing, Country Ballad, etc.
Korg is fine on 8 beat country styles, but the older shuffles, country swing...are non existent. If you take Country Quickstep, and slow the tempo to around 100, you can get a sample of what I mean.
I have taken a Big Band Fox style, changed the brass to guitars, changed the drum kit and altered some style part volumes and came up with an acceptable Country Shuffle, suitable for Merle Haggard, Ray Price, etc. country swing songs with walking bass.
Korg has newer country things, but us old folks need styles suitable for vintage country...Hank Williams, Willie Nelson, Merle Haggard...
In my opinion this is about the only weak spot in the Korg style collection.
Thanks Paulo!
