Kronos X freezing

Hello,

I have a problem with my KronosX.

KX is suddenly freeze during playing. First sign of freeze is cutting sound after 1sec (every single sound). When I tried restart after freeze, the bar was loaded to 10% and then KX show "SYSTEM STARTUP FAILURE...". 15 minutes later Kronos started correctly.

What can cause problem?

Hi,

First question. Do you use a UPS to power the Kronos? This is a must as the Kronos, being computer based, is very sensitive to bad power.

Second question. Have you opened the synth up to check for loose memory, connectors, basically anything that is socketed?
