Here is a song from Gary Moore that I always loved called Still Got The Blues played by me for the first time without guitarist :D. I just tried the mixing and somebody recorded the video and I want to share with you.... I know many mistakes, but I dont care, when I know that I can play 100 times better :D

I hope you will like it...

btw, KORG PA4x is the best arranger for live music. It sounds like a live band.

Please, and I say this with the utmost good intent, please don't put videos made 'live' with cellphones with the awful sound on the web. You're not doing yourself any favours, abilities notwithstanding.

Hi Bescki:

What a nice sound. You mention it becomes from PA800, it's an original sound form PA800 or you modify it.- Really sounds fantastic.-
With regards.

Fair enough, it's for fun. But if someone's looking to book you, a video with sound like that is surely going to turn them away.

You're clearly a decent player. You deserve a better showing than this. Good luck.

THAT is REALLY nice

Thanks for sharing
Korg's sounds have come a long way and yes the PA4X is the best

I have a great style for that number too but can't remember what guitar it uses - must check it out now!!

Cheers

I would definitely book you . The quality of your playing would sell over the quality of the recording .

Hi,
I often get confused my comments about the quality of sounds on these current day arrangers (not just Korg's).
The keyboard can only do so much, the rest is down to your playing ability, and how you set the registration up.

I have heard players that could improve the sound just by moving the melody up an octave. You need to know what range a sound is played in and do likewise on the keyboard.
I hear players that set a style and sound up and never change it throughout the whole tune (I'm guilty of that).

You have to think of registrations and settings on a keyboard as a template. Something that can be altered and saved to suit yourself.
However, it always seems that if people are not happy with what they are getting from the keyboard, it must be the keyboard that's at fault.

Well it sounded pretty good to me. I don't think anyone booking this type of act would be put off by something that was recorded on a mobile phone and probably reviewed on a mobile phone!
