Kronos X - new disk.

Post by dbx1214 »

I changed disk in my Kronos X to samsung evo 850 (250gb). I started to install and Kronos displayed something like - disk is not formatted for Kronos, press enter to format and full install. So I pressed it and installation was in progress.

During installation in part "formatting the disk" installation stopped. I was waiting 2,3 hours and nothing happened. Still the same "formatting the disk" and no progress. Progress bar in the same position.

Any ideas?

Typically this is done by cloning the original disk to the new one. In fact, it's safer to keep the original disk in place and add the new one as a second drive.

I ran into that problem when installing a new drive then i just cloned it and no issues after that if you do use DVD's to install to reformat use option 2 not the full reformat option.
