Harmony On when recall in songbook

What is it that I've done or not done, when songs I've saved in the songbook are selected for some songs the harmony is recalled and the light is on and for other songs even though I've saved it the same way I physically have to switch the harmony on. Could somebody enlightened me.

Harmony on/off is related to the Single Touch Settings saved in Songbook. I use the STS's to turn different layers of harmony on throughout the song.

Sorry, I don't understand. What I would like to know is how to save the harmony so that when selected from the songbook the harmony light is on. For some unknown reason some song I've saved is recalled with the harmony button on and others I have to physically switch it on. Is there a global setting for it.
