PA3X songbook

I use my own custom songbook list on my PA3X. All styles are located in favorite banks, only using factory sounds. If I load my favorite styles, and my songbook list to the PA4X will they play correct or will it need a lot of editing? I put so much work into editing all my styles and songbook list, hate to do it all over again. Very close to order the PA4X.

I have done this from my pa80 days on ,, all of my song or styles in my song book are in my favorite banks and use just factor sounds...
my pa3x favorite bank 1 , is the same as my pa4x favorite bank1 ,, so all song in my song book that point to bank 1 work great.this is just for styles , not midi song or mp3 ,,
for all my midi and mp3 songs in my pa3x were in a folder call ( midi&mp3 ) on the drive or usb ,,so i just copy the whole file to the pa4x and then use the songbook on a computer and just change the resource ..on the pa3x it look like this

KHD_USER\midi&mp3

on the pa4x now it look like this ( i put in a SD card and use this for all my stuff )

KORG SD \ midi& mp3 ( now all song and mp3 point to this folder )

and in side the computer songbook you can change the whole list of song in one click , by slect all ,

Thanks for your reply! I have done a lot of tweaking to my user styles. First in record mode, changing sounds, volume etc. Lots of drum editing, doing changes to kick, snare, hi hat, etc. in styleplay track/style controls, and the same to the other tracks, and finally minor tweaking for each entry in songbook. This is a lot of work, at the moment I don't have time to do all this over again, but I do want a new KB

hoping my styles will sound even better

What I was hoping was that loading my PA3X favorite banks and songbook to the PA4X they would be ready to go

Did yours work fine without doing any changes?

by keeping my keyboard songbook pointing to just my favorite banks for styles it work 99% and sometime one or two styles (sts ) would be wrong,,don.t know why but it was easy to fix and resave.
as I said for me , keep the midi mp3 in the same place one folder .. the folder (midi& mp3) when you look in it i have broke down in to more folder ,, one is midi and another folder is mp3 .. I did not do much tweaking of sound in a styles just some sts..
and i found , if i had trouble with a older styles from the pa 80 or pa800 and so on,, i would just load them in to the edit or styles maker on the pa4x and them just resave them and I think this make the style look more like a pa4x styles..

but back to what you ask .. I had no trouble ...I did have to use the songbook on the computer to make the change to the were the song should point to .with out the songbook i would have to each one in the pa4x and the take to long ..
again 99% work fine..

and if I like a factory style and want to use it ,, again , I had to copy it and put it in my favorite bank , and yes I might have two of the same style but , moveing from one keyboard to the other is easy now..
and I don.t play more then 50 songs a night so I have lots of space in the key board

Thanks a lot! I may order the PA4X next week. I have a buyer for my 3X, he wants it soon, but I told him I need to keep it until I know the new one works fine. We'll see how it works out

After reading all PA4X pages with bug reports, I just decided to hang on to my very stable PA3X a little longer, at least a few more months, and see if things gets better.
