Octave changes

Post by Evan »

Hello everyone,

Is it possible to use and apply the Octave buttons only for the selected sound (for example: upper 2)?

As of now, under a given performance, when I change the octave (by pressing the external interface buttons) , all sounds change octave (upper1,2 and 3).

Id like to be able to only change whichever "upper" track is selected without affecting the rest.

I understand I can do so by editing the tracks, but during live performances it is distracting.

Thanks for all your help! ☺

Two ways I know of.
Dedicate a STS set with the Upper 2 set as you want it or create a new User Sound that has all oscillators transposed.

Octave button is a global function and cannot be excluded for a sound , even being disabled in Sound editing interface !
You can use only tricks similar as Reuben said , mostly using ready performance sounds (STS) with relative transposes or
Sounds using ON/OFF switches (dublicating a sound in STS with +/- 1 transpose).
