Don't you think by now someone here from KORG would have been happy to make this announcement here on the forums and to confirm it? Sorry, I won't be getting excited until I hear it from one of our own reps here.. thank you.
No I don't think they would. It would only create more complaints if they don meet the deadline.....it's better to remin quite and surprise us than warn us then disappoint.....
I am all for Korg taking the time to get it right. Its obviously complex to do so. Its easy to conceptualize a product but immensely difficult to have a finished product . I think those that are impatient should have this mindset.

I think its unnecessary for a Korg rep to come on the forum to give weekly or monthly updates on a product.

A simple preannounce with a very general timeframe is adequate.
After a period of time, a 1 week final
announcement that " product available on our website on or about date ".

I think its best for Korg and customers to have a simple and formal communication process. I think the complaining gets fuel when they say
' ready in a few months', etc, etc.

I think people are forgetting the fact that this is a privately run forum, not affiliated with Korg. Its nice that once in a while Rich & Dan stop by, but they're under no obligation from Korg.

Greg,
I wasn't complaining at all.

Chuck,
I totally agree with you. It's not Dan or Rich's responsibility.

What I meant to say is when it is posted to KORG.com I will then believe and get excited..

Right. But some users of this forum have volunteered to be beta testers after a request from Dan. I think the question was related to those volunteers.
Beta testers are almost always under an NDA, in which case, they wouldn't be able to answer such questions...

Good find Rob. According to him, he's talking days, not weeks or months…

Don't rush it...I'm still on like 1.04...I'll upgrade soon so I can try out the Karo strings and bump to 3gb.

I'd rather just go straight to this 1.6 if the editor is part of it.

More sound banks? Does he mean more than the AA, BB, CC stuff we received with 1.5, or is he talking about 'even more' sound banks associated with 1.6 giving us AAA, BBB CCC etc. Sheeesh lol

And release is in a day or two...
