Daz,

Why do you feel that the reliability of the Oasys hardware is a concern for you? Is it because it's made up of generic computer parts, as opposed to a "standard" synthesizer with specially made electronics?...

Kevin,

Well said!

Mauror,

Sell the O, get an M3 and shut up already! You've done nothing but gripe since you showed up on this forum.

To All,

It absolutely amazes me just how many very immature spoiled brat ego snots think the world and Korg owe them something, especially on this forum for the most spectacular musical instrument in the history of mankind.

I shudder to think I share the label of musician with them.

I will say once more for those that do not hear - there has never been and will probably never be a single musical instrument that can do everything to everyone's satisfaction. Period ! Get used to it and get over it.

For the babies who gripe & moan at every turn, you've no idea just how good you have it. If you had the money to buy an Oasys you're ahead of 99 % of the rest of the "musicians" out there, who start with a pair of drum sticks, a hand-me down guitar, a 30 note portable keyboard, etc, etc, etc. (and that's just in the developed world).

Those of you who whine, cry, bitch, and complain most of the time have pretty much found out you get your way with people you know if you just keep it up long enough. In polite grownup society, most of the time the opposite is true - those around you can't stand you because of your constant whining and immature outlook. It also is COUNTER PRODUCTIVE to your objective to continue this childish behavior adnauseum.

Since I have never heard a woman complain on this forum, for God's sake just try to be a man for once, state your case and let let it go at that.

If you are really that angry or what have you, you really should sell the Oasys and put the money into therapy sessions !

KNOCK IT OFF !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've had a few glitches with still young Oasyses, a little worrying.

Korg WILL sell a heck of a lot more M3s because of this and has stolen the thunder away from another company that claimed to have the best sequencer. This will generate more funding for R&D.

Implementing these kinds of changes in the O may take a bit longer since it has audio recording as well. Now that Korg has the user interface figured out, the biggest challenge IMHO, it should be easier for them to incorporate it into other products.
I´m agree with all you posted, MIDIGuru.

Its been a fantactic job what Korg have done with the M3 2.0 OS, and the posibility to use the new Sequencer editors with the touchscreen, leads it over all the competitors, IMHO.

And about the OASYS, I´m agree it would take time, but I even think that, with the fantastic touchscreen the OASYS has, along with this superb control surface, and the actual ability it has to record and playback 16 Audio tracks (no other sequencer has this feature); with the current M3 enhancements and upgrades, (track edit screen, piano roll, the "drag an drop" fuctionality, etc, etc.) and few touches here an there, (resolution, etc.) Korg can become the O sequencer the best sequencer yet in any workstation, ever.

Hey

I bought a Oasys, not a korg company to wach. Also we have a lot, but also we had to pay x money to get it, and the fact that M3 was not if we did not.
We made it possible for korg, now show us that you care.

We never had anything for free, but STR-1 so compaire your money to the m3 and see what you get!

So leave it...Korg know what they where getting into when the made there promisses....end of story.

Sell my O, hehe never...but I might not buy another.

You already have, and have been... we do listen and pay attention to all of the dialog here.

Regards,

Jerry

Then listen to this:

Announce an upgrade for the oasys, people are spekulating all kinds of thing...just dount tell us when it will be out  for your own sake.

Also a lesson of manner towards oasys owners, Never keep us in the dark like this, when you need to do as you had to do with the m2 and m50. At all other times, but NOT this. Did you think of what this might have of effect on the Oasys sales? Who whant to by an O if it might be canceled? :?:
