yeah i know ppl gotta ask, but really it will happen one day i sure .
Why was es-1, ea-1, er-1,em-1 ??
all those boxes had sequels , the mkII's n X-tribes .
Ive owned all the originals an beleive its only a matter o time b4 we see
electribe "m" updated including sampling at last ...
but i still think an "s" workstation may appear again as korg know that many ppl make music purely from sampling techniques , and the esx is popular .
i think this cos i expect korg to keep pricing as low as possible , and an mx type machine with top sampling features and synth may be too pricey to become as popular as the previous electribes , the new "M" tribe might only have a "good" sampling function in the way the mx drums are "good" but not world beaters .
If these machines are'nt in production n on way soon i'd be stunned !!
still , seeing how so many ppl are asking bout this , im gonna hav some fun n do some fone-calls n general blagging to get a sniff of a yes or no .
Ive spoken to rob at korg uk ( director . the service dept f***ed my mx ) a couple of times , so i'll call him n feed him some lines n see what he sez, i'll try get him tommoro on my lunch hour just to see . I promise not to get off the fone till i get some sort of answer .
New Electribe at Musik Messe?!
Moderators: Sharp, X-Trade, Pepperpotty, karmathanever
i must add tho ... as much as new tribes would be nice , i just dont think ppl hav really emptied the absolute most from the current tribes yet .
personally , im more than happy just using an emx1 .
really , re-tube an mx and an mx2 becomes less of a thought
but .... who gives a f*ck , ppl want to know
Who am i to say "stop talkin bout new electribes " ?
i'll see what i can find
