One more reason to keep my Triton Extreme! I am loving my TE! All I need is a Motif XS for all the acoustic sounds, and I am all set!

How come Korg didn't know that some M3 owners would leave fingernail polish remover on their fingers ??????

the fact that I had to decide if I like the two spaces near the Module... I thought they was great to put two glass of beer... but I usually don't need 2 pint of beer during a concert... I start with 3 so there isn't enough space on the m3 and so it's useful.

Are you really set with the TE and XS? I'm have the same dilemma. I've had the TE for over three years. It's great. I like the XS too. But the M3 sounds better to my ears than my TEX. Love the new action too. I think the TEX and M3 are different enough to compliment each other rather than becoming redundant. But then again, it's more than just the sounds. I hate mod wheels and love joysticks. I just wish there was an extension for the M3 joystick. It sits to low for my taste. My favorite setup is the Trinity joystick which is raised. With the Triton and M3 Korg lowered it. It's just not as comfortable to me. I think they lowered it in order to protect it from being vulnerable to any blunt force.

I've owned an M3 since July07. It's been played hard and often. I've seen no button text wear. I remember seeing those pictures and they scared the spit out of me and thought what a poor choice I'd made. The more I play it the more I realize what a great creative tool this is. It still blows me away and I'm a better player for it. Everyone ASSuMEs that Korg is aware of the "problem" but to me it's like asking, "Are you still beating your wife". I know...it was on the net so it must be true but until I see any sign of this on my axe (and I check it often) or until Korg says it's a problem, I'm loving my M3 a bunch and let you worry warts worry.
