Can the Matrix pad lights be turned off...?

Anyone know if the Matrix pad lights can be turned off...?

No, there is an option in the settings - but this has no effect on the matrix. Has always been like this. I wrote to KORG and asked whether it could be fixed in a future update - in 1.4.0 still no funcionality

The matrix light setting is broken right from the beginning and even the latest update 1.4.0 has not fixed it. Also there is another feature regarding some curve which is disabled and there is no mention about it in the user manual.

Yes, it appears that, at this time, the only way to get the Matrix lights to go off is to delete/not add whatever is in there.

If nothing is set in the Matrix buttons, then the lights will be off.

Kind of silly for Korg just not to let us turn the Matrix lights off.
