Songbook Editor 2.0 and 3.0

I have need to load both 2.0 and 3.0 songbook editor on my windows 11 pc. I made a different folder under programs for 2.0. Then I was able to load 3.0. But that was on my Win 10 machine. Tried same on my Win 11 machine and it will write over it the later 3.0…

You can use two versions of Sb-Editor - like I did - in parallel on the same laptop/pc with v1.4 and v3.0.

This also works with versions 2.0 and 3.0.

If version 2.0 is installed on your laptop, you can find out which installation folder the program is located in by right-clicking on the Sb-Edit icon and selecting "Properties" (usually C:\Program Files...).

Copy the "songbook.exe" file from this folder to another folder, e.g., the desktop.
Rename the program copied from "songbook.exe" to the desktop, e.g., "Songbook_v2.0.exe".

Uninstall songbook.exe from the installation folder to C:\Program Files...\KORG Pa-Series Songbook Editor.
This will delete version 2.0 from the installation folder, but it will remain on the desktop as a renamed program.
You can continue editing the songbooks of Korg devices that you previously edited with version 2.0 using the renamed Songbook_v2.0.exe.

Download and install SongBook Editor v.3.0 to edit songbooks for Pa4X, Pa1000, and Pa700.
This will create a new version of Songbook_v2.0.exe on your desktop and a second version of Songbook.exe in the installation folder.
