kronos 2 programs
hi, i have a kronos 1 and a kronos 2. the kronos 2 has programs that the 1 doesn't. is there a way i can get those *extra* programs on to the 1? thanks in advance.
Korg Triton 76, Korg Triton 61, Korg Triton Extreme 76 + Moss, Korg Triton Extreme 61, Korg M3 + Radias, Korg Kronos 73, Alesis Ion, T.C.Electronic effects & SPL processors. Edirol M16DX. Mackbook Pro & Logic pro X.

Yes, but it is not free. Many of the K2 new programs call for samples libraries that must be added on your K1/KX.

The price currently shown in the above link to the New Kronos Sound Pack is discounted from its original price of $299. However, it's worth waiting until one of Korg's sales, as the price may drop further. Black Friday might be the next sale period.
The installation of the New Kronos Sound Pack allows the user to load the new Programs into a different Bank. The new Combis will probably need the Program allocations in them to be edited, in order to sound correctly.

Yes, as mentioned you can choose to install the banks wherever you prefer. About all the programs you edited and created, once the new banks are installed where you want, you can place them anywhere as well. So before doing such an upgrade, ALWAYS do a Save All on your machine so that you can keep all your custom programs and work. If you have a PC, I also recommend to use any of the freeware available such as the Kronos Editor, PCG Tools and/or TidyKronos to save time organizing your combis/programs as you wish. Each freeware offers advantages and strengths.
