My Pa5X works fine.

I am letting others, like you Beta test 3.1 because Korg have a history of flaws in major updates.

I fail to understand why so many rush headlong into updating without giving others the role of being a Beta tester.

Next we will have somebody whinging that all their user data is gone.
if you so big expert than comming here do what i have to do and i pay hundert euro pro tag and logistic cost and if you do not solving it than you pay for me !

Are you going to make a video or are you just going to keep complaining?

Sorry, but your English is terrible and extremely difficult to figure what you are actually trying to say?

I'd recommend you write in your native language and then we can let google translate for us as I 'think' that will provide more clear translation that whatever process you currently do.

As far as KORG and OS versions and driver issues, yes they have some issues that I do agree their software in it's current state should never have been released period. For over $5000+ hardware, we should NOT be Beta testers (odd that so many seem to accept this as standard practice and is ok?).

I'm not sure what is going on with the software side of KORG, but they do seem to be lacking the appropriate technical resources/team to provide a good problem free end user experience. When I upgraded OS there shouldn't even exist a prompt to say all my data is going to be wiped out ... (being a software engineer for 37+ years I know) ... that's frankly insane. What KORG skipped (as in didn't spend the money and resources) is migration as needed to ensure existing data is correctly adjusted to work with the new OS. They frankly just didn't bother to spend the money and time on a smooth OS transition for existing data. Honestly, it feels like just one programmer that does EVERYTHING rather than a team of developers.

But FYI, this forum is NOT run by KORG, there are no KORG employees working this forum. This forum is only "hosted" by KORG USA meaning they pay the bills to keep the forum alive. I personally haven't seen any official KORG response to anyone. I went thru their support email system and got a generic response that didn't solve the problem ... just pointed me to a link that I've already gone thru for diagnostics.

There is a prompt about your data being deleted. The specific update procedure name says "Format and Install/Update". Also every time you do an update you are supposed to complete the update by factory restoring which is in every update installation manual for basically every model. This specific update of 1.3 also requires you to delete the settings folder from your backup KST because settings have changed and menus have been added.

You should sell the PA5X and stop complaining and writing "desaster" after every sentence. Sorry, to say this, but I don't make a living with music and gigs. Music is just a hobby for me. So if things don't work as expected, I go back in time to something that worked. If things don't work out as expected, go back to previous version that worked for you; and make your living.
I am an electronics and software engineer by profession for the past 30 years and I know for sure that complex software like that of the PA5X will have bugs and it takes years for things to get stabilized and refined; and even after all that there are going to some bugs which we have to live with.

Given the inconveniences PA5X users have experienced despite their financial contributions to Korg, it is understandable that users may also feel compelled to express their concerns in this forum.
