Hi Everyone,
I have a PA900. I bought the PA1000 in 2018 and had issues so i got rid of it.
I was waiting for a PA1000 replacement but no luck.
Fast forwarding 6 years later, I just bought a new PA1000 again. I see that the sample memory has been expanded to 1 Gig compressed, which is nice.
There are still bugs that never got fixed at least compare to PA900:
1- Songbook "select" button is still missing.
2- Keyboard set does not save the transpose.
3- When KB-set link is blinking, the variation repeat does not bring back the corresponding STS/ KB-set back if you changed the STS by touching a different sts/KB-set.
Such easy fix, but I don't know why Korg would not address this requests from many of us.
Best Regards,

when you say ...There are still bugs that never got fixed at least compare to PA900:
ok ,,, can you say what the bugs are ....
Songbook "select" button is still missing.
You do not need a select button just touch the song that you want.
Keyboard set does not save the transpose.
I have a PA 1000 and it does save my transpose in the song book....
When I pick a song from the song book. that I have transposed a song , and it loads it in by just selecting ( from the still missing button ) it it does show up as a-1 negative or +5 the transpose shows up and works.. for me ...
When KB-set link is blinking, the variation repeat does not bring back the corresponding STS/ KB-set back if you changed the STS by touching a different sts/KB-set..
This one I'm not sure exactly what you mean or I don't understand the question can you state it a different way..
Such easy fix, but I don't know why Korg would not address this requests from many of us.
This is true.
and
I did load the new os 151 and it might be ok for more sample room.... this I do not need ....
I went back to OS120 and for me it run great ... and i do sample and have lots of sample but ... I found out that the os151 for some reason gave me some trouble so I uninstalled and went back two OS110 and then 120 and 131 and 150 and then 151 still ,,,, all work but some work faster and with less delay and more ....
so for me the os120 is work just fine ...
let us all know
oh my pa1000 is old rca jack for video ...

Hi Duby2,
Thanks for your response. Here is more explanation of the issues, at least compare to PA900.
1- PA900 had a select button in the songbook so you could browse while you are still playing without selecting a new song abruptly. Now, as soon as you touch a song it selects it.
2- I know Songbook saves the transpose, but in PA900 the Performance, now called Keyboard set, also saved the transpose. Pa1000 keyboard set does not save the transpose.
3- Make sure auto fill is on, Turn on KB-set link to blinking. play variation 2, so it chooses the KB-set 2, then touch the keyboard set 4 on the screen, and play that sound, then click the variation 2 again, it does not bring back the corresponding kB-set.
PA900 does that if the auto fill is on.

You need to use on the right hand side of the screen the little slider if you touch another song it should also just load into player 2 if player one is being used or if player 2 is playing a song and you touch another song in the list it should go to player 1 as it does for me.
I also had a PA 900 but I do not remember how all the functions worked on it now
**** the 900 performance is different in the PA 1000 that might be why

i do not have my keyboard out now ... i will have to get back to you.
