Sorry if this is obvious
Is there a way to set/config a global limit on the pitch-bend range on a KRONOS X61? Ie for ALL patches
I want to apply this on a live set
Newbie question about pitch bend range

No, not not directly onboard the Kronos. It might be possible by editing the PCG file directly on a computer using some form of tool, but I'm not aware of any that exist already to do so.GuyM wrote:Sorry if this is obvious

There is a workaround though, which is to use Combi mode. Create an empty combi, choose the program you want for Track 1, then go into the combi pitch settings and change the desired pitch bend range there. When you want to load a new program, just change the program assiged to Track 1 and it will inherit the existing changes to pitch bend range.
Though I have to ask -- are you actually using _all_ the built in programs? Changing the ones you actually use should be achievable pretty quickly, unless you're using hundred upon hundreds regularly.

Ok, so i am building a large live set
So I can, I guess attack the pitch bend ranges individually by patch
They just seem to be variance depending on the source of the pack patch
I think there are some online tutorial videos which I may be able to use
So thanks for the reply shame that there’s no global, sort of Keyboard level controls that can be easily be set

I can think of lots of cases where I want the pitch bend (or modulation, or aftertouch, or...) to behave differently based on which patch I have selected.
For example, on a rock guitar patch I might want a drastic, whammy-bar dive in the downward direction, and just a half- or whole-step bend in the upward direction. That setting would be inappropriate for something like a woodwind instrument patch.
