Hi
I have just gotten myself a used Monologue, so I proceeded to download the monologue Updater in order to check for a firmware upgrade, and found one.
I updated from Mac, but after pressing [16] to complete the update, the screen turned black, and I have been unable to turn the machine on since.
I have also tried doing the factory default reset, but without any result – there might as well not be any power connected to the device (I has tested with different sets of batteries to no avail).
Is there a recovery from this?
Did I just brick my Monologue?

Did you wait after the screen went black for the panel updater to finish?
From the updater manual:
Depending on versions, the system may need to update the panel firmware when starting up. When [Update Panel...] is displayed press [16] to launch the update procedure. While updating the panel firmware the display will turn dark, but please do not turn the power off. After about 15 seconds, the update procedure will complete and the display will be re-enabled.
Maybe you can try running the update procedure again?

Thank you for your reply.
I have written the Danish importer to enquire whether they can rectify the situation.
I did wait. 5 minutes or so, but the screen did not turn back on. Unfortunately, I am unable to repeat the update procedure as I can neither turn the Monologue on nor enable the update state.synthpeter wrote:Did you wait after the screen went black for the panel updater to finish?
