I won't comment the quality of those styles on this site you mention,
but do you think this is the best way to advertise it,by posting it on my post ?
Really ?

Guys,i see a lot of users who download a Cubase Script that is for a Locked Greek SD set , instead of the original International Pa4x v3.1 Cubase Script.
You can find it here :

Thanx,
I try not to use audio loops ,cause of the 15000 samples limit pa4x has.
That means that with even 150-200 loops,pa4x can be out of space for samples,so you might end up having 1.5-2Gb free ram but not free sample locations to load your files .
But i would really like to sample some nice real drums someday.

The drum sampling is very interesting - as yet, I have not heard any drum samples that are "real" enough. But i would really like to sample some nice real drums someday.
Biggest issue is that, for example, if you just take a snare drum, you need so so many samples to get to any playable realistic level.
Cheers

Hi Pete,
that's true....
My favorite Drums VST is Superior 3.
Even if you load a basic set which is about 1.5Gb ,and it certainly has quite many different layers lets call them,it still doesn't sound real.
But if you use the whole set, depending your hardware's power ,you can clearly see the difference..
What makes it sound real is that for each velocity of a snare hit for example, there are quite some hudrents or thousands of samples playing randomly .
That means if you draw on daw 100 snare hits with velocity at 65,you will hear 100 different samples all playing at the same velocity ,not just one.
Imagine how many different samples are been used while playing a snare at all velocity range....
And the result is it feels natural because of all those timbres.
Unfortunately pa4x has a limited number of samples someone can use at the same time for the same ''Snare'' or ''kick ''for example.,while superior 3 might have some thousands of samples for the same thing.
In this case,it looks wiser to me to try to resample some Roland Drums.
Some Slayer drum samples i tried, didn't work as good as expected.
Hope this winter i will try to find some time for programing a better standard and rock drumsets by using some factory samples and some user samples as well.

While it may not stretch to hundreds of round robin samples, every little helps!
The Yamaha Genos does have round robin samples for some of its new Revo drum kits. And listening to demos, it certainly helps. No, It’s not going to compare to a dedicated multi gigabyte drum VST, but… Baby steps!
It would definitely help Korg keep up if they included some ROM kits in the next arranger with some solid round robin samples for things like snare, high hats, and some percussion. Yes, they are going to have to deal with their sample limitations, but drum and percussion samples are extremely short, so it should not bloat the ROM size all that much. And it would help enormously.
And, bottom line (as you can hear in many of the Revo demos) it doesn’t take that much to significantly improve a kit’s realism if the style programming in the first place is good.
If we want better drums in the next arranger, round robins are the way to go, perhaps with a good dedicated drum room reverb for just the kit.
