76 or 61? I cannot decide - help!
I will be using the PA on top of a weighted controller so I am not sure if I should go the 76 (for "fail-safe" as it is a longer keybed and can in emergencies cover piano gigs)
or the 61, as in a dual rig it is smaller and easier to fit onto to stands, cartage etc etc....and in arranger mode could JUST make it as a solo keyboard...
It is so hard to choose hahaha!

If you go for 76 keys, you also have 61 keys
If you go for 61 keys, you will never get 76 keys
For weight and transportissues, i don’t see or feel a huge difference between them..
If you wanna use more then one split..
Or play piano style sometimes
You have no other option then 76

I've never owned any ARRANGER keyboard bigger than 61, because portability was an issue for me and arranger keyboards never been my main instrument, so I could really care less about the size. I'd definitely get a 76 if that was going to be my primary instrument. Gosh I haven't even touched my arrangers for over 2 years now.

My two cents…..
I think it depends how old and fit you are. I used to have a piano-action Yamaha synth (71 keys) which I loved , but as the years went by, it got strangely heavier. About 35kg including hard case.
I sold it, and bought the 61-key Pa4X to get the weight down.
But after about 5 years, it seems to be getting heavier as well? Will soon swap out the terrific SKB hard case for a lighter soft case.

A moderately fit 70 year old.
