New Member to Korg Family

Post by Diallady »

I was officially introduced to Korg family when I took receipt of my first Korg - Krome EX-73! This is going to be quite the journey learning the ins and outs of it. I am blown away at the sounds it has to offer. I am especially impressed with the arpeggiator programs. I am using a Zoom L-12 as a standalone with good results. Also have a Roland JU-06A added to the mix prior to getting Krome EX. Only time will tell what can be created from this Krome EX. Found an excellent tutorial series to help in the learning process. Will be more than happy to share if anyone is interested.

Welcome to the family.

The Krome is a mighty machine, somewhat underrated these days because it's a little long in the tooth. KORG's support tends to be good, so I'm not the least bit worried about my Krome (which I was just using last night as it happens).

One of the nicest things about the Krome is the way that it can be a really good studio master for external synths driven by MIDI. You could grab a couple of KORG Volcas, and a couple more Roland Boutiques, and have a veritable synthetic orchestra all flowing into your L-12, sounding magnificent.
