Assign samples to midikeys like C1 and C2?

Hi there, nice to be on the Korg Forum.


I have a question that is not really answered in the manual, maybe you guys can confirm something.

I would like to play the microsampler with an external masterkeyboard.

The manual tells that
In sample mode, you can play a sample assigned to a key.
and
Press the key to which you want to assign the sample data (p25)

Can this be a midi-key, lower than the lowest key of the microsampler like c1 or c2?

And is it possible to change this note to a random midi-key like c1 or c2 afterwards so it can be played with an external masterkeyboard?
