audio outputs

Post by Dawnbell »

This might sound silly. But I want to be cautious so that I don't mess up my keyboard. Can I send audio out through the earphone jack and the two unbalanced jacks on the back simultaneously? Will doing this damage the arranger in anyway? Thanks!

out put

I don't have my PA 1000 set up now to test it ,,,, what I think when you plug in headphones it might shut off the speakers in the keyboard.,,
that would be OK but I think the left and right output is still coming out,,, so you could have left and right out and headphones out...

I do this on my pa 4,,, I use the left and right output in Stereo ( speaker qsc k10 and I also use the headphone Jack out (speaker qsc k10 ) Mono....
I made a special quarter inch stereo into model..( just put the 2 wires together made it mono that's all) and now I run stero left stereo right and in the middle mono which as both sides,,,, the third speaker that is Mono (( I adjust independently and the volume has to be lower left or right the headphone Jack has more juice coming out of it...

Now if I want a little bit more bass I can just use the mono speaker and just EQ it a wee bit different not much

The short answer is yes, you can.

The longer answer is that if you use the audio outputs on the back, the speakers will still sound, even though the audio outs are being used. You will have to go into the settings and turn off the speakers if you do not want to use them when you are using the rear outputs.

When you use the headphones, the speakers will shut off automatically. You can still use the audio outputs on the rear while using headphones.

Good answers. I just want to make a statement, never plug in headphone while the keyboard is booting up. An error came up and had to reboot...wish I can remember what it was...? I found it alright to leave it plugged in...while booting...
