Intergration with Logic Pro

Post by Emrys »

I am looking to buy the Kronos.
How well does it work with Logic Pro?
Thanks so much!

What do you want it to do in Logic?

I use my Kronos as midi controller - works great in logic.
I send audio through an interface rather than use usb drivers.
Kronos is so configurable it allows me to control my other synths as well as logic using the external midi maps.
What you after?

That is what I was hoping to do.

I have a MOTU 828es...I will do what you did with your Interface.

I use Logic Pro X and it works flawlessly. I use the Korg Kronos onboard sounds (audio) as well as software instruments and external midi. All works great - all using on USB cable. You can certainly use 1/4 inch jacks as well if you have an interface (i.e. Scarlett). I love the fact that leveraging midi you can automatically create and print the score of your composition. I have recently upgraded to Catalina using the apple midi driver and haven't experienced any issues. I don't use any of the Korg Legacy desktop software which I believe is still an outstanding issue.
