Screen Corner doesn't work - how to access menu

Post by witmer26 »

Hello,
My Korg Kronos X 88-Key has a screen issue. The very top upper-right corner of the screen does not register touch. This is where one finds a chevron/triangular arrow icon that lets one pull down the drop-down menu on each screen. Does anyone know any way to access those drop-down menus without using the touch screen?

(Running version 2 but can't upgrade to newest version since cannot access menu)

Thank you,
Mark

Did you calibrate the LCD for touch ?

If you hold down the Enter button and then press one of the number keys, you can usually access the drop down menu functions. These are the "shortcuts" to the menu commands. Each mode has its own set of shortcuts, and you can view them in the Parameter Guide if you need to, but as a rough guide, ENTER +0 will give you the first item in the drop down menu, and so on...

Thanks so much! Between your reply and the other one, I was able to access the menu to recalibrate my LCD just slightly off so that all the buttons are accessible, and then I have the menu shortcuts as a backup if the screen continues to deteriorate.

Sincerely,
Mark
