Sub System/Firmware version?

Post by Ricky »

Hi all

How can I check which sub system (firmware) version my Kronos is running?

I can easily get the OS version, but not the Sub System.

It's a brand new Kronos, so I think it is updated. Just want to be sure.

Best regards

This one way to check and see if the firmware is up to date. If it is new Kronos I am sure it is probably is 1.08 firmware.

That's what I was thinking. Thing is I bought my K2 fairly new too... 1yr 9mths ago. Maybe it was a model that'd been sitting in the warehouse for awhile.

Got mine 2 days ago.

The music store didn't have them in stock, so they ordered from factory/distributor.
That's why mine is version 1.10.

I think they'll make this update public soon.

You should test some of the bugs we know about like the HD-1 LFO glitch and MOD-7 startup freeze.

it would take some effort to determine actual age from factory assembly.

Such as collect a bunch of serial #'s of new K2's. And draw some conclusions based on the data. Even so, it might not be conclusive.
