Kronos and Montage or Pa4x
I am planing to get another keyboard to my set and I am thinking Montage or Pa4x to complement my Kronos now I like arps on Montage but then I like patterns on Pa4x any advice ?
Depends on what you want to do. Workstations and arrangers are different animals. Here ya go:

One other idea. Might look into a PC/ Mac set-up with either weighted (Roland A88) on semi-weighted keys (ala the NI S61Mk2), and some seriously outrageous software like Omnisphere or Keyscape - NI has tons of stuff too.

Re: Kronos and Montage or Pa4x
I don't view these expensive keyboards in terms of arps or patterns.leonh wrote:I am planing to get another keyboard to my set and I am thinking Montage or Pa4x to complement my Kronos now I like arps on Montage but then I like patterns on Pa4x any advice ?
Personally, I would not purchase a 2nd complex keyboard until I had a handle
on the 1st Keyboard. One can easily spend 1 or 2 or more years concentrating on the Kronos by itself.
The Montage is definitely complex. If you had many yrs of experience on the Motif that would help the learning process.
