Electribe 2 Sample switching

Post by oortone »

Hello!

New to this forum, new to Electribe 2 but certainly not new to Korg (first Monopoly in 1984) :D

Anyway, I'm trying out Electribe 2 Sampler and it's really nice but one thing I've noticed is that while playing keeping the sequencer running – if I switch sample (truning the oscillator knob) on one part it seems like there are strange things happening with the timing of other parts. Small glitches in timing and maybe attack part of certain sounds.

Is this a known issue and/or are there methods to get rid of the problem for instance when playing live? Otherwise it's quite a problematic issue I believe.

This has happened a couple times to me (very rareley) . I just save the pattern, switch to a new pattern, then switch back and the timing should be back to normal.

OK, but I mean in realtime, if I can get rid of this when switching samples on the fly in a live situation.

Maybe I should update firmware it's a second hand buy.
