What to sync with the Electribe 2s...?

Post by Mokushi »

I am thinking of getting a volca, but I am not so sure yet... I want to find something that can play a loop at least twice the time of the E2S. What I mean is, to loop a pattern not on 4 h 4 beats, but let's say, 16. Is there such a device?
Sorry if the question is a bit specific or stupid. :)

Also here is a funny video of my first attempt of a live show with it https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AXzSfIou7pU

Volca Keys is a really nice and capable synth.
It's sequencer can run really slow ,at quarter speed.Great for playing its chords as progressions. Not good for intricate phrasing.
TB3 I love,by Roland.Check out the sound. If you like it ,it can have patterns that tun for 32 segments.Twice as long, but its easy to chain two or more patterns. The sequencer is boss. The sound is no one trick pony as there is a variety of presets with different sounds and effects.

If you want a more acid bassline vibe then get a Volca bass. If you are after a more polyphonic type progression thing then get the keys or the new Volca FM. Out of the last 2 I would get the FM. You will be discovering new sounds on that thing for a long time.

Agreed with Jiggins above ,but want to point out my preference for TB3 over Vbass. The cover similar turf but TB3 rocks.

In my opinion tb3 is better than vbass too. It is very good recreation and hardly distinguished from original tb303. It also has many other sounds except tb303.

Perhaps it is my fault for trying to get the same results as in a computer DAW.
Anyway, thank you for the suggestions. Any ideas when the Volca FM will be available around Europe?

I'm really enjoying my Minilogue. I currently have the Minilogue, ES2, KP3, SQ1, MS20mini, Roland MC307, and ORION synced. Loads of fun!
