PA4x Unavailable in US -- what's the story?

The PA4X Pro was released in Europe April 2015 (I believe).
It was supposed to be available in the USA 21 Sept 2015. I have had one on order (Guitar Center) since that day. I have been given delay after delay. Now, they are saying it will ship 29 Jan 2016. Sweetwater is facing the same thing, so this is apparently not a Guitar Center issue.

Does anyone know why we in the US are facing these delays?

Can a PA4X Pro be ordered from Europe and shipped to the US? (Portland, Oregon). If I were to do that, however - who would honor the warranty and how would that work?

Is the delayed US model going to be any different than the European model that launched in April 2015?

Couple of majors up here don't have it showing on their sites, either. They pulled the Pa3x off a couple of months ago, but still no sign of the new baby.

Availabillity for PA4x in both europe and us was early November..

It was announced (worldwide in september)

So i dont know where you got that information, but seems someone lied to you

Also your information is incorrect. There may have been all sorts of official announcements but as matters stand only a handful have been distrubuted in Europe, basically to dealers.
In Holland there is no one who has the PA4X other then a very limited number of stores that all have ONE on display.
Next week there will be the distribution of the first batch to stores and clients, but I have understood that this delivery as well will be extremely limited and quite short of honouring all orders by folks who have done so.
In view of all the bugs that have been reported so far this may not be a bad thing though. I am sure that Korg will do its utmost to fix these bugs asap and that larger quantities of the PA4X will be on sale in January.

I said europe, not Holland... we are lagging as usuall, to my knowledge in Germany, France and BRittain many people allready got their PA4x..

(yet not all and everyone has received their product yet)

As a mattter of fact I am active on several foreign keyboard forums and I can assure you that in the countries mentioned by you hardly any person, if any, has already gotten a PA4X. Which incidentally is explained by the limited amount of reactions , bug reports ,etc.

I received my PA4x 76 just over 2 weeks ago now

I was told at the time that my order was with a consignment of six which had arrived a month earlier than expected and that made me a very happy chappie indeed,
so it appears that some people in the UK must have received theirs.

I have cased up my PA1X76 Pro (which is now for sale, BTW) and am enjoying my new PA4X76. I waited 12 years to upgrade. Generally, I feel right at home on the PA4X. I installed the Styles Mega Pack (from an Ebay seller). I also sometimes play the PA4X (upper keyboard) from my lower keyboard (Kronos 88 ) though the sounds on the Kronos are just astounding - it is impossible to beat that Kronos keybed. Thank you Korg and thank you Frank (AudioworksCT) for having one!

We are still testing in Europe, so when we find all bugs and KORG fixes them with updates, KORG will sell it in USA
