Restoring PCG question

Post by c_hammal »

Hi all,

It's been ages since I posted here. I recently upgraded to a Kronos 2 88 keys. Loved it. I then later uploaded a PCG set from another site (in attempt to bring some M3 sounds/combis). Ever since it messed up a bit of my preset combis. So I attempted to load factory PCG from the SSD.

My question is; are all preset combis in the Kronos 2 using INT & USR program sounds? I assumed it would use sounds from Banks A through I? Is something wrong with my PCG restoration process? I still see some M3 combis left but not sure if all the factory sounds and presets were restored correctly.

Could appreciate any input. Thanks guys. Always great to be back here!

There are a couple of non-obvious things to do in the process.

Choose the most recent Factory folder. It may be called FACTORY_V2.

There should be no need to go as far as using the accessory DVD disk 3.
