How to store and recall sounds quickly from M3

Post by musicwerks »

Hi,

I am a newbie and the M3 is my first exposure to workstation.

I use on live set to play as a synthesizer...but I have a problem of recalling sounds quickly. I have to scroll thru different menus to retrieve a sound...which is bad for live stage.

Is there are faster way to store and recall sounds quickly for live set?

Thank you for your patience

You could copy each program or combi into the sequencer as a song in the order of your set. Then just step through the songs in the order they appear in the sequencer. Save each set as a different file. This is the closest you will get to a set list.

(you said you have M3 but posted in M50 forum)

You can do this easily by:
- using only combis. if you need a program, make a combi using only that program.
- Use PCG Tools (see link in my signature), to move the combis in the order of your set list

Thanks Guys,

I will try out the software michelkeljzers recommended.

I will shift my post to the M3 section.

Cheers
