Just looking over that spec and there are quite a lot of interesting things in there. Here's 6 that I personally find very interesting.

1: The Touch Screen is listed as capacitive. So no more resistive touch screen layer. In short, the screen should be far more responsive and light to the touch to operate. Far more accurate too and durable. Is this a first for KORG? I don't think any other KORG uses this kind of touch screen. Far as I know they have all been resistive in the past.

2: Intuitive redesigned graphical interface. I wonder what level of redesigned GUI this is refering to and if the capacitive screen is being made use of here in some way. Multi Touch support maybe? Pinch to zoom? A chance from the normal tradition? I look forward to finding out.

3: Massive internal ROM with a renewed PCM database. I wonder what KORG consider worthy of the word usage “Massive”. I certainly look forward to hearing the new PCM data.

4: Up to 400 MB of user PCM data. This is a very unusual number that suggests KORG are not using typical RAM in the traditional sense it's using in the PA3X. Ram goes upwards in specific multiples. For example, 1,2, 4,8,16,32,64,128,256,512 and so on. Never an odd number like 400MB. Maybe that suggests a bit of KORG KROME thinking is inside the Pa4X.

5: Complete sample recording and editing features. Upgraded Sampler, maybe on par with what's ready in a workstation?

6: New standard MidiFile to Style converter feature. This sounds very interesting. This could turn into a major resource to the community. Imagine 100 of us beavering away converting midi files into styles and then sharing them online.

Regards
Sharp.

Or they allocated some part of that Memmory directly to the OS and not available to the user?
