It says a lot about someone when that person doesn't retort to arguments but falls back on personal attacks. Guess it makes sense on a forum full of sour old people.

You're the most sour and griping of all though. (Not saying that 1_inch_punch couldn't also sit back a little bit more for my taste)

Of course it is 100% coincidence that after 2 free editors are actively being developed here, a paid one shows up not much later Laughing

It was never announced, that editors were actively beeing worked on as far as I've read. There was only one thread that discussed the format and another that asked for someone to develop an editor.
Also I can assure you, that no code stealing has taken place. It's fairly impossible for two reasons:
1) Free editor is in Java, the code is "suboptimally" arranged in one file with one, two classes. The payed editor is either in Objective-C or Swift I assume. Not in Java. They focus on completely different platforms.
2) Payed editor popped up a day after free one or so. This short time to "reverse engineer" the free editor, build one from scratch on another platform and make it look better and add more features while at it?? You're dreaming.

Yeah, all I am is sour. Just have a look at my ~400 posts. I contribute nothing, and all I do is troll people, call people spammers and take the piss. You have no idea what sarcasm is. But thanks for another personal attack though! It is always fun to have a discussion where all the arguments are ignored.

The free editors where under development for weeks and then the guy makes his 3rd thread ever asking for help with his commercial application (not saying it was gonna be sold here or commercial too, but I digress). After that he made his 4th ever topic here which just like his first topic he made was advertising some software.

It is fine to ignore all that and hate on me for calling spam; spam. And it is fine if you do not agree with my opinion. Look at all this drama. If we had put this energy towards ending world hunger we'd be saving lives

New member here. Personally, I want anyone who builds anything related to these machines to feel free to post.
Why anyone would protest this so much makes no sense to me.
There seems to be a lot of negativity on this forum, which is not really good for a community.
Think about it. Do you want to build something up or tear it down?

So dutchcow, if you are so upset about people "spamming" on the forum, why haven't you posted on the thread started by some guy selling stands for the new Electribes?

Are you really upset about people spamming or just pissed off that the price of the software you want is more than what you were hoping to pay?

Personally I welcome people posting about products on the forum as long as it's related to the gear the forum is about. I get to learn about new things that may be useful to me that I didn't know was available.

For example, a guy wrote new firmware for real old gear I own that breaths new life to the old gear. If the guy didn't "spam" about the product, I wouldn't have known about it.

I'm glad he did because that gear was just sitting in the closet before the update. And now it's getting used frequently.

I bought the software and I am very happy with it.
It is just 10 bucks, not the other number people keep saying.
It is an editor, imo its so completely obvious that people are going to make these, so that there can be no question of stealing an idea.
This payed editor is better then the free one because of the multi file import, overwriting factory sounds and setting categories in bulk, for me those things make it worth that 10 bucks.

You guys are really something. Lets complete ignore me, yeah. Good advice. Because nobody has replied with arguments, I am happy you all agree on attacking and ignoring me. And giving spammers all the freedom. And yes the guy selling stand is also spamming the forum.

It is fun to see how you all gang up on one person that tried to make this place better by addressing spam. I am not going to be chased away by a bunch of sour old people that call me a dumbfuck, tell me to best ignore me. Wh even bother retorting to an argument. There is no means of a real discussion here cuz people use personal attacks rather than arguments.

This community is rotten to the core. Nobody here debates/discusses things with arguments. It's all attacks on the person and ignoring the points someone is making.

In a way it is funny that this so called community would rather get rid of me than some spammer. Cuz the spammer has contributed so much and my contributions are merely trolling, egging people on, riling people up, being negative, etc etc

It baffles me that nobody here sticks to the facts and arguments. Given that they're all of age and should know better, they behave like they're on a schoolyard. And yes, I am still making my music, no worries mate!

I personally can't wait to get down with some of this spam.. As soon as I get some templates and sample-packs going there will be freebies *and* paid-for sets available for all! And hopefully we can get a swap-meet-type arrangement going and create a pool of sweet files. =)
