Have you unchecked style/pad lock in Globa > Media?
I had the same problem a while back. Once I did that everything went OK.
Hope this helps.

PA900 - Pad parameters (volume, pan, eq, fxSend)

What you did was setting Pad-Record-Volume. This is valid for recording only, it is not the same as Pad-Play-Volume. Volumes for playing Pads are memorized parameters (in Style-Settings, Sb-Entries).

Use the page Pad/Switch to select assignments (hit sound or sequence, Volume, Pan, EQ, FxSends) before saved into current StyleSettings or SongbookEntries. This parameters are valid for playing Pads.

PS: Do not forget to unlock Pads lock to prevent Pads not to be changed when choosing different Styles or SongbookEntries (Snorkum told you).
kind regards

Unfortunately there is not. It will be checked everytime power cycles.
I wish you could uncheck it and keep it unchecked, no matter of power cycle or.
I guess this is a safety feature for poeple not accidentially change a factory style without saving it to user area.
I have not found a way yet to keep it unchecked.

On the other hand, it doesn't matter what Korg does, there are always people you do nothing but complain about everything.
For now this is the way it is and I will live with it and work around it.

Hope this helps, sorry.

PAD volume is saved with the Style parameters where it is used. While in Style mode change the volume of the PAD (SHIFT-PAD) then save the Style. If it's a factory style you need to unlock the factory style lock in global first.
