Hi Ron ,
Congrats with the new site.

Just out of curiosity, how's this new site different from the older one that got banned?

Hi Sam

I got removed because it was assumed (nobody really checked to see what kind of mp3 it was) that the mp3 provided was the original artists music. I think that it was an "abba" tune that he was referring to, but really ,the mp3 was created by recording the audio outs of my sound source. It is the same as recording what you are playing on your board.

The whole idea behind this site is that when you playback the mp3, you are hearing what you should be playing, and also , with the provided lead sheets, you are able to see how to play it. Thus a different way to learn a song.

Thanks for asking.

They are from all over....As you see I am attaching all the resources I can find to the song. My hope is that if I can provide all the resources in one area, it would be a good "go to" spot.

You can see everything on the Site what we have.

Also I should say that you do not have to a "SuperStar" to have a spot here, all I need a couple pics (more the better), a bio, and as many mp3s you have and I will create you a spot along with the other Musicians here.

Thanks
Ron

You have to remember that the Site is fairly new and it takes a lot of time and effort to create these song sets. We will get there in due time . I have added about 15 more today....

You can always check when ever you want, to see if there are more songs uploaded....Check often because I am working this site on a daily basis.

I'm confused. Your site is charging people for membership to what exactly?

When I visit your page, I hear only recordings of Midi Files. I don't hear any styles. I also see you asking people to submit Midi Files with Styles to you, which you are in turn going to charge others for access to.

Can you please provide more information on all this and what sort of clearance you have for doing this.

Regards
Sharp.

Thank you for your consideration but I'm only trying to gather information.

I can't make any judgement on this because you didn't answer my questions.

You can easily make the call on all this yourself. If the files are yours to sell, then carry on as you are. If they are not yours to sell, then I ask you don't promote your site here.

Sharp.

Hi Sharp

I am responsible for following up with PMs and activating "approved merchant" for "keyboard", however I appreciate your queries here as I am also now a little confused and yes, we do need to be assured that there is no accidental piracy regarding MIDIs etc.

(Sorry, I should have thought about this just a little deeper in the first instance but my initial investigation left me believing that this was all acceptable. "keyboard" made it very clear to me that, in no way did he want to or intend violating any rules/requirements)

"keyboard" has been very respectful towards the forums and rules regarding this.

Cheers

Hi Pete.
That's all perfectly fine. As you know, anyone with 50 or more genuine posts to their name is welcome to a merchant account. Beyond that no moderator expects them to then use that account to promote something on the forum that maybe illegal. One would simply assume they are not that stupid and they would have the "cop on" to know what is and what is not allowed to be promoted on the forum.

Regards
Sharp.
