Musikant Styles for PA3x

Post by fjs714 »

Hi Fellas,
I was thinking of trading in my PA900 for the PA3x. I noticed the Musikant Styles for some of the PA series keyboards. However, they're all in German. Does anyone have any experience with these styles?
Thanks Frank

I use some of them for both the 900 and the PA3. Some require editing, but not bad once the editing is done.

Chuck,
Thanks for responding. Since you have both the PA900 (so do I) and the Pa3x, have you noticed if there are more entries in the Songbook Section and the Styles Section on the PA3x?
I'm really thinking of making the trade.
Thanks Frank

I think there are a few more on the 3. To me, the 3 is a little more complex to work with. But then, I'm sort of electronically challenged. Good luck on your decision.

I've asked this question before but I don't think I ever understood the answers I received.

The main reason I bought a PA3x was hearing Juergen Sartorius play the Musikant.......really "happy" music, the way they play in Europe, and the way I like to play.

I assumed all I needed to do was get the Musikant styles and play them on my PA3x. I DID get them (the Musikant styles) somewhere along the way. They're sitting on my hard drive.

Can I use them and.......what do I need to know about using them?

Please remember I forgot whatever I learned about playing/installing/etc styles. You don't need to go into detail.......just.....can I use the Musikant styles? I really like the stuff Juergen plays!

I just downloaded the styles on a thumb drive, inserted it into my PA3 and downloaded the wants I wanted. I've not had any problems so far. Hope this helps.

Yes, Chuck, thanks......it does help.

Can you tell me the exact name of the ZIP file you used. I've been collecting PA3x misc files over the years now. I just checked and I have 18 folders (with files in them) with the word MUSIKANT in them. I even have MUSIKANT files with .RAR extensions.

Most of them came from friends or other Korg owners here and there.

Chuck, whatever you can remember I'd appreciate. These Musikant files are confusing for me. I also started a new "topic."

Is the download o.k.? There have been 20 some downloads. Just curious if the file is o.k. since I didn't go back and check it before uploading.

Hi Don,

thanks for the link. I also took advantage of the link. The download seems to be OK. It downloaded everything at one time. I have not checked them out yet. However, everything should be working fine.
Can never have anough styles.
Thanks

Hi Don,
Thank you for the download , and the files are working very good on my PA900.
This styles are much better,if this are original styles of the PA3X than are the much better than the styles of the PA900.
