Really? You think anyone can actually make a synth with a decent keyboard that weighs 15 lbs?Jrperser wrote:doesn't weigh 15 lbs.
Because we all know that people like to spend hours upon hours making, looping and keymapping samples for...Jrperser wrote:doesn't come with all those demo samples for free
free.
You wouldn't want to consider that this might simply be a limitation of your brain, would you? I took it out of the box, and had it set up and was playing it in about 12 minutes (and that was allowing for it to warm a bit to the room's ambient temp.) If you're talking about every nook and cranny of its OS, well, think about that: if you could figure it all out on 10 minutes, it would be quite limited.Jrperser wrote:takes a while to decipher
A Korg M1 was 2 grand.Jrperser wrote:$$$$
So was the DX7
An MS-20 is 700.00
A CX-3 was 2500.00
You really think this is a lot of money when it has all that and 5 other synth engines, Karma, a sequencer, and an arpeggiator as well?
Okay.

I have no problem with the viewing angle of the KRONOS X screen, but maybe that's just me.
The learning curve is to be expected, as it is advanced computer gear.
I like that it has some weight, let's me know it's not cheaply made.
I dont think the other keyboard company's are giving away thier sample expansions either, and it's nice that korg let's you demo them right from KRONOS.
For all you get, the KRONOS is a bargain.
I understand there are people who wish the KRONOS had this or that, and those are legitamate comment's.
For me personaly, i knew excactly what i wanted in a synthesizer/workstation.
The KRONOS gave me that, and more.
