hey
I am about to get a Kronos x 61 and i want to make sure that i can controll the Kronos with an externel 88 keyboard keys.
I know i can do that through midi in/out but my question is, will i be able to use all of the 88 keys with the Kronos x 61 or i ll be limited with 61 key of the 88?
I need to use the sounds and os of the Kronos and play them with my external 88 midi keyboard
thanks

Yes, you can control more than the 61 notes of your Kronos using an external 88 key controller. This ability is an industry standard, and why MIDI was invented. I use my 88key controller to play piano sounds, because it responds more closely to a real piano keyboard as compared to using my Kronos 61 synth action keys to play a piano sound.
Not only can assign any sound to an 88 key controller, but you can have a completely different sound on the Kronos keyboard. You can attach multiple controllers to the Kronos and do multiple layering and splitting of sounds across all the keyboards.
