Gadget 1.0.3 + Dock = no transport controlls

Post by Cubilas »

Hey everyone, I just bought the Korg Gadget and both IAPs...

When I start Gadget, I see the transport controls (play/stop/..)

After I plug the iPad to my Alesis IO Dock, the transport controls disappear!

Anyone else experiencing this?

Your MIDI sync is set to Auto, has detected an external MIDI clock and expecting starts/stops to be handled by that external clock device. You can set it to Int if you want to control transport from Gadget but it will then ignore the clock sync.

Thank you Steinberger!
I did find this out myself, and really appreciate the response!

Not happy about this behaviour. In a live situation it would make sense to switch between song scenes, especially when Gadget is synchronized externally.

Definitely think they should allow scene switching too.
