Hi Scott - Because if you use only the MIDI volume & contrpole you will not have two independent volumes

This is the X of the question. It is not possible to assign the volume Ctrl 7 to control different two programs, the only way I could use this option has been "deceiving" the keyboard with control expression for this function.

So... Is "expression" always assigned to control volume?

What if I made a Combi that had 2 different pad sounds and I wanted to assign the CUTOFF Filter to both pad sounds. Would I assign knob1B = CUTOFF and Knob2B = EXPRESSION ?
