Connect an audio interface to usb port korg kronos

Post by ralhop »

Did someone try to put an usb powered audio interface to a kronos usb port. I want to use it as AD converter to connect my nord stage 2 88 to the audio usb port from the kronos. I allready use the analog inputs for the vocoder mic. And i dont want to use a seperate mixer

it might work if you find something that's class compliant, but if it has multiple ins/outs, you won't be able to control any of that like you would on a regular PC, so you may have difficulty getting the output that you desire.

That being said, I've tried plugging in my M-Audio Fast Track Pro (the only USB interface I own) in the past and the Kronos didn't know what to do with it.

Doesn't work, the K only acts as host for class compliant midi devices.

My Ipad can transmit the Audio into the Kronos so I don´t want to Close the Topic .
I go in some says to my local store to try some Interfaces out on the Kronos.
and Report back

Your iPad is a host - like a Mac or Windows computer - instead of a device. As stated previously, audio interfaces are not supported.
