Problems with FDD Emulator
Hi guys. I haven't used my triton in years and wanted to play with it again so I just bought a USB Floppy Disk Emulator. Everything installed fine, the problem is I cannot get the triton to recognize the USB stick. I've formatted it the fat 16 and fat 12, single floppy. 100 floppy, basically every way to format it and when I put it in the emulator the Triton doesn't read it. Its Driving me crazy. Any advice would help. Thanks alot.
Hi all valued users of the Triton Classic.
Whether anybody tried to purchase and successfully use a USB to FDD emulator for your workstation?
I found only the SFR1M44-U100K model, but I do not know whether it’s possible to install it inside the workstation instead of the defective FDD. I also do not know correct setting of jumpers, which will be suitable for the Triton Classic (different manufacturers use different settings of jumpers, which are differs from model to model even for the same manufacturer).
Any reply with useful information and/or results of your experience will be highly appreciated.
Hi jetbradley,
If you have the aforementioned emulator, I can send to you its user manual. May be this can help you.

I bought SFR1M44-U100K lately and installed it ok. It has autoformat feature - by holding 2 buttons on it, while powering on, it formats usb stick to 1000 FDD partitions. But after that sometimes Tritton still do not recognize some partitions seeing them as unformatted. Then you could just format them from Triton menu. Also before autoformatting you should format whole drive by a software that comes on a CD bundled with emulator.
BTW, if anyone has that CD, please share a link to it, as mine came corrupted and I had to download some CD from a 3-d party, which do not work properly - I cannot access all the partitions except root one. Thank you.
